#29: Jelle Mul of Patagonia | Why are you in business to save our home planet?

Tune into our conversation with the benchmark company in all things purpose and mission-driven businesses. Have fun!

Build the best product, cause no unnecessary harm, use business to protect nature and not being bound by any convention: With these core values, Patagonia is in business to save our home planet.

Founded in 1973 by Yvon Chouinard, the company is one of the global leaders in selling outdoor clothing and epitomizes what it means to be a purpose-driven business. To find out how and why that is, we had the privilege to talk to Jelle Mul – Senior Marketing Manager for the EMEA regions.

The former professional cyclist and alumnus of the Johan Cruyff Academy tells us all about how the strategy and value proposition of the company has evolved, why their business operations are not sustainable and why the owner of the company decided to change Patagonia’s mission statement.

Tune in for an awesome episode with the global purpose leader!
